#0064 - Collywobbles Author & Negotiations Lecturer - Moshe Cohen
Today’s guest is Moshe Cohen. He’s the founder of The Negotiating Table, Senior Lecturer at the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, and author of the book Collywobbles: How to Negotiate When Negotiating Makes you Nervous. And if you’ve been paying attention, it should be no surprise that he’s here to talk about negotiation. It’s an art form that all are familiar with yet it still evokes a sense of mystery and fear among many of us. Moshe states that this is partially due to the fear of being taken advantage of on both sides of the table. In this episode, we cover tactics you can use and new ways you can frame negotiating in your mind to quell any fear or trepidation you might have.
Listen in as we cover everything from why there’s nothing to lose in asking for things, how to gain more leverage when buying a car, why talking can stress you out, and why listening can calm you down. So with that said, tuning in to this episode is a great way to start working on your listening skills.
